“Seva” is a Sanskrit word meaning “selfless service” or work performed without any thought of reward or repayment. In ancient India seva was believed to help one’s spiritual growth and at the same time contribute to the improvement of a community. This is the art of giving with no need to receive, where the act itself is a gift to everyone involved. Seva is the art of blessed action.

Granada Animal Outreach (GAO) is an animal rescue organization located in Granada Nicaragua. Through the support of dedicated volunteers and donations, GAO works to put an end to the suffering of homeless, abused and neglected dogs by helping them find permanent, loving homes. Though their primary focus is dog rescue, they hope for the day in which all the animals of Nicaragua are happy, healthy and safe.

An NGO (non-governmental organisation) committed to the protection of the flora and fauna of Nicaragua. Currently protesting to pass Law-747 which will ban the use of animals in circuses in Nicaragua.
